Registration deadline is seven days prior to event, class sizes are limited. Treat your reservation for classes, events and dinners that require registration as a ticket to any important event as fees are non-refundable. No class exchanges or credits are given, but you may send a substitute or if class involves supplies, they may be picked up on class day only if you are unable to attend. Early registration is advised as classes fill quickly. If class is full, your fee will be returned promptly. Sorry, but we are unable to accommodate children under 12 for programs. We are unable to hold your reservations without fee paid. Note: Your cancelled check, credit card statement or PayPal statement is your receipt and confirmation. When arriving for class, please go to Country Store to check in.

During this make and take workshop you will fill a great 14” moss basket with flowers to bloom and enjoy throughout the garden year. This basket itself will last many seasons. Learn about new cultivars of plants for your garden. Taught by Lauren Manning. Supplies, lunch, dessert & beverage are included. Fill this lovely 15” basket with flowers to enjoy all season. The basket will last for several years and could be changed with the season to decorate a garden gate or wall. Learn about easy annuals to grow. Includes supplies, lunch, dessert and beverage. Taught by Lauren Manning. The day is devoted to growing and using culinary herbs as well as how to use essential oils. Sampling and recipes will be provided for using favorite cooking herbs. Two make and take workshops will be held. In one you will take home a 10” container filled with five culinary herbs. In the second you make an essential oil stress reliever roller to take home and enjoy. Supplies, lunch, dessert and herbal beverage are included. Taught by Lauren and Greg Manning (horticulturist).

During this make and take workshop you will fill a great 10” container with plants to repel insects and for other uses in the kitchen. We will also discuss benefits of essential oils.  Two make and take workshops will be held. In one you will take home a 10” container filled with five mosquito repellant plants. In the second you make an essential oil mosquito repellant roller to take home and enjoy. Supplies, lunch, dessert and herbal beverage are included. Taught by Lauren and Greg Manning (horticulturist) You will fill this approximate 5”x9” concrete, rock shaped container (container alone retails for $18.00) with an assortment of succulents for “no care” gardening. Horticulturist, Greg Manning, will talk about his passion for succulents and sedums. Supplies, lunch, dessert and drink included. A large 10” clay flower pot will be painted with garden flowers, (roses, daisies and forget-me-nots) butterflies, and frogs. It will be beautiful throughout the season. You will be given supplies and a flower or herb to plant at home. Taught by folk artist, Betty Manning and assisted by Elaine Basham. Supplies, lunch, dessert and beverage are included.

You will fill this approximate 5”x9” concrete, rock shaped container (container alone retails for $18.00) with an assortment of succulents for “no care” gardening. Horticulturist, Greg Manning, will talk about his passion for succulents and sedums. Supplies, lunch, dessert and drink included. You will use dried bay leaves, caspia, assorted flowers and a seasonal bow to create this beautiful 12” wreath to accent your  home décor. Supplies, lunch, dessert and beverage included. Taught by Lauren Manning. Sally’s work is so beautiful. She uses a palette knife technique, with oils on 8”x10” canvas. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn this technique and take home your creation. Previous art experience not required. Supplies, lunch, dessert and beverage included.

During this make and take workshop you will fill a great 10” container to transform your cool-season garden by adding the stunning colors of flowering cabbage. Imagine bold shades of white and purple during the garden's quiet seasons of fall and early winter — beautiful! Supplies, lunch, dessert and herbal beverage are included. Taught by Lauren and Greg Manning (horticulturist). I attended a beautiful tea at the Leander Club on the banks of the Thames River in Henley, England last year. We are going to have a recreation of that wonderful event. It will held in the garden, weather permitting. I plan on wearing my fascinator/hat and dress I wore to the magnificent occasion. Wear a hat and, if you have a parasol bring it too, you can be British for the day! The menu for the tea will include: assorted finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and raspberry preserves, chocolate dipped strawberries, lemon curd filled pastry and cookies. We will have a tea tasting, as well as, show pictures of England. Recipes will be provided. Fee $39.00. Looking forward to a joyous afternoon with you, Betty Manning. This class is a great opportunity to create an acrylic painting of you own home or your favorite landscape. Bring a picture of your home or scene for this 8”x10” canvas painting.
